our trip to langkawi

the view from our water villa is nice, i can see the sea area of anderman sea.

the sand quality of the region is good but the water is not as clear as those in maldives.

they offer the service of spa inside the hotel but we didnt try it last time.

eating inside the restaurant just beside the beach is very comfortable.

langkawi is another great resort area in tropical region, i enjoy its stay there.....................gunwai

swiss trip ( bern, jungfrau region, zurich, interlaken )

mei mei, ah fai, welcome to ltw, your postings are very nice.

after reading your japanese trip to takayama, shirakawago, kanazawa, i remember my trip to swiss in 2003.


bern is the capital of switzerland, u can see many national flags inside the city urban areas.

zurich is the largest city of switzerland, there is a river in the middle of city. last time we didnt try to find any fish inside but we can see a boat sailing on the water. the church is the city's landmark which is just beside the river.

jungfrau region is one of the most famous sightseeing spots in german-speaking part of switzerland. here we can see many lovely mountain villages made up of traditional swiss wooden houses. the view is picturesque and the environment is very romantic.

interlaken is the base of tourist climbing mt jungfrau. there are many good restaurants inside the city. i just walk past one american fast food shop. its outlook is very unique so i stopped beside it and took a picture about it.............................................................................gunwai

三亞之旅

萬豪酒店房間，由露台眺望，就是這美麗的沙灘海景。


沙灘水清沙幼，真的好像去了布吉一樣。


這是做Spa的小屋，當晚按摩了一個半小時才睡覺，成身鬆哂!

坐在酒店大堂的餐廳吃點小食，望著這無暇的景色，真是舒暢。

日本之旅(高山、白川鄉、金沢)

這是位於高山的一條古町，顯現出江戶時代的景觀。由於臨近七夕時節，所以每家每戶都掛上柳枝及七彩吊飾。



這是飛驒古川，川水清澈，水中有不少鯉魚游來游去，景色優美，環境寧靜。


白川鄉，世界文化遺產，利用茅草，但不用一根釘子所建造而成，顯現人類的智慧。晚上天空閃閃發光，星星數之不盡，十分浪漫。

古都金沢茶屋街，在此吃了一個日本傳統甜點，滿足也。

崑崙關

位於廣西南寧市郊，地勢險要，歷來是兵家必爭之地。
二次大戰，中國軍隊在這裡打了一場勝仗，打擊了日軍建立中國到印支半島的陸路運輸先的計劃，扭轉了戰爭局勢。

我參觀了陣亡士兵的墓園，向保衛我們國家的英雄致敬。
在那裡我想起了這首詩，

秦時明月漢時關，
萬里長征人未還，
但是龍城飛將在，
不教胡馬渡陰山。

i do like olympic stadium

i dont think i have chance to play olympic games in the future. it is also difficult for me to see olympic matches in bird nest stadium this year in beijing.
i just walk past wan chai sports ground on sunday, this is the olympic stadium in my heart as some good memories here................gunwai




記得１９９０－９１年在這裡我第一次也是唯一一次代表我的中學參加學界田徑賽。
儘管我最後一無所獲，在５０００米長跑中倒數第二名衝過終點，
